20 Weeks and Half Way There

So here I am 20 weeks pregnant/5 months along. Which means I'm half way there but, if you do the math that means a total pregnancy is 10 months long, so what is this 9 month business? Any who up until now its been kind of a rough road. I have had really bad morning sickness and have had a hard time finding anything to eat that sounds good or doesn't make me throw up! Along with that, if I do find something that I can eat more than likely I'll get some heartburn or have really painful gas pains. So needless to say "morning sickness" has been a lie for me because it lasts all day 24/7 and yes people I have tried everything to ease the nausea, everything. But now here I am at 5 months and I finally feel a little bit better. Sometimes I have an appetite sometimes I don't, I don't gag over everything anymore and I'm finally starting to get a little belly. Even though I'm still under my pre-pregnancy weight, its nice to see some evidence of my little girl growing! She is almost 1 pound now and i'm starting to feel little things here and there that let me know she is moving around. Nothing that is a good kick to the bladder or anything but little flutters here and there. I can't tell you how excited I am to meet this little girl, I can hardly wait the 5 more months I have to carry her. Thank heavens for my husband through this whole thing. Withouth him I would be a bigger mess then I already am. He has been so patient and understanding when he has to list off 100 different types of food before I find something that sounds remotely good. He has rubbed my back as i've thrown up for the 20th time that day, and held me when I cried that this was harder then I thought it would be. He has helped me smile through the hard days and gotten me past the worst moments. I'm so glad to have him by my side through everything and I know he is going to be a great dad when our little girl comes along!
