It was just before dark and we saw this beautiful rainbow right behind us. It had been somewhat cloudy all day and had just started to sprinkle, but there was just enough sun that reflected this rainbow! It was so great to be up in the fresh mountain air, with a warm fire and great temperature up in Mueller Park Canyon.

So Wesley was having a rough time of getting his hot dog and soda into his mouth and not onto his shirt, so I had to take a picture of this nice red stain on his crisp white shirt. Wes also managed to fall backwards over a log that we had made into a bench. Yep, all the way backwards onto his butt, me and AJ could not stop laughing!! Thanks Wes for always providing great entertainment!

This is the look I get when I pull out my camera, in his head AJ is saying, "How many more pictures can you seriously take for your blog, really?" But because I'm now pretty much addicted to blogging the picture taking will continue babe so deal with it.


I decided that I was ready to change my hair, so here is my new hairstyle. It is quite a change from my long, very blond hair! What does everyone think, do you like it or did I look better blond?

Carson, my nephew is just over 1 and he loves to run around. His dad had quite the time chasing him all around the campfire. He is just too cute!

Me and AJ love to go up to Mueller Park and roast marshmellows and hot dogs. We have gone up quite a few times this summer and hopefully can make it up a few more times before fall comes and school starts for both of us for another semester.
